In brief, my shareware deal is this: If you register one of my
programs, you get in return all the most recent updates of all
the programs in my collection, except for my retail software.
There are only a few retail items, and they carry a very modest
additional charge. Add these charges, and you get everything.
This is a deal that can't be beat in today's shareware market.
You're looking at nearly a megabyte of original work covering a
wide range; and you can have it all for just $40.00 (4 retail
programs plus the basic $20 shareware charge).

                      SHAREWARE NOTICE and TERMS

The content of this archive is shareware: if you intend to use it
longer than a 30-day trial period, you must register with the
     author.

In return for your registration you will receive the most recent
updates of the items mentioned in the list below (excepting items
marked with asterisk). This benefit far exceeds the value of the
specific program(s) you are registering. More important you'll
have the satisfaction of knowing that you're supporting the
     shareware movement.

Simply purchase a money order from your bank in the amount of $20
US made out to Bob Eyer and send with your return address to:

       Bob Eyer
       1100 Bloor Street West

       Toronto, Canada M6H 1M8

Please mention in your accompanying note whether you wish 5.25"
     or 3.5" diskette format.

Do not send checks. Checks cause problems for long-distance
transactions which make them unsuitable for small purchases by
mail order. Only cash or money orders will be accepted.
Improper or incomplete orders will be returned to the sender
     unfilled.

Enquiries may be placed by writing directly to the author via
Easyplex at Compuserve [73230,2620], or by mail to the address
above. Registered users are always assured of a response, and of
tech support related to these programs, if needed.

The author is amenable to requests for custom versions of any of
these works; terms subject to negotiation.

     Ordering Asterisked Programs
     ----------------------------
Certain items are not 'shareware' but are, enhanced retail
versions. These versions are marked by asterisk, and are
separately priced, usually at $5 each. It is not practical for
me to fill orders for items at only $5; so I require shareware
registration ($20) as part of the order. For example, to order
HOSP, you must send $25 (($20 shareware pgms + $5 HOSP).

     Warranty and Disclaimer:
     -----------------------
The author, Bob Eyer, of this and all items below guarantees the
physical integrity of the diskette covering the points above, and
will replace free of charge, if it is received defective.
However, in no case will the author be responsible for any
damages due to loss of data or any other reason. In no event
does the author's liability for any damages exceed the price paid
for the buyer's order of this software, regardless of the form of
the claim. The person using the software bears all risk as to
the quality and performance of the software.

      DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAMS
      -----------------------

   * HOSP 2.3c - retail $5.00 (in addition to shareware registration)
     ---------
HOSP (HOST Plus) provides a simple BBS using the most recent
version of HOST as its core system, but with added optional
features triggerable by simple file detection. HOSP has a DOOR
option and the package includes a STOP program permitting the
user to design a single batch file to manage any number of HOSP
doors and corresponding menus. Has ringback, file transfer
including FMS option (option to effect file transfer from/to one
file list covering many directories), mail, chat, userlog, sysop
shell, bulletins, immediate file downloading, color prompts,
more. Unique to HOSP is fast userfile/password logon, a complete
information services subsystem, switched private file transfer,
and many other additional features. Adjustable word wrap in
message entry and chat, and automatic logging of chat to disk,
providing a convenient private messaging system, fixes echo logic
bug that caused remote hangs when run from certain modems. New:
HOSP now offers automatic logging of downloading activity to a
log file specially formatted for running summaries. HOSP orders
now include the SDL interpretation program (see below). 47K.

HOSP orders give the purchaser the right to free updates by direct
     electronic transfer.

     SDL 2.0
     -------
Download statistics summariser. Operates solely on the DL.LOG
output of HOSP to generate total bytes downloaded for each
     successful downloader. 6K.

     Included with HOSP orders.

     HOST 3.5
     --------
Provides a simple BBS host for occasional use. Fully
configurable, but capable of being run without any configuration
at all. HOST provides ringback, file transfer, mail, chat,
userlog, shell, bulletins, immediate file downloading, color
prompts, user-selectable FMS operation, more. 41K in size.

Caution: HOSP (see above) is the more advanced version and is the
     system  which  the  author uses in debugging and adding features;
HOST is merely an extract from HOSP.

   * ADL 2.2 - retail $5.00 (in addition to shareware registration)
     -------
Phone canvasser's voice dialling program (The Auto-DiaLer).

performance. Enhanced version of EDL in the SUTL package,
providing further speed enhancements using a built-in
sophisticated full-screen editor specifically tailored to the
needs of phone canvassers. Has one-keystroke marking of
callbacks, colour highlighting of called numbers, periodic
auto-save to minimise loss of data, automatic communications port
selection, setting and diagnosis, and much more. Only 26K in
size, but is by far the most powerful program of its kind.

With this program, you can watch a movie while you're calling
400-500 people, and spend MOST of your time watching the movie!

   * MG 3.3 - retail $5.00 (in addition to shareware registration)
     ------
Moving average graphing program. Especially designed for
obtaining graphic updates on stock-market activity in practical
trading environments, in which it is essential that the user get
a quick graph immediately, with points of the graph directly
associated with the numerical and other text information which
these points represent (a feat impractical in Lotus graphics).
Designed to be used with SETV in the SUTL package. 15K.

     FCA 3.0
     -------
Memory-resident calculator with formatted displays and direct
paste to text, minimum screen overlay. Many functions, including
trig, factorials & combinations, binomial, Poisson, normal, and
Student distributions, regression and mean & standard deviation
analysis. Six mode groups. ADD accumulation area. Version 3.0
so far has one additional financial function (loan payment), but

calculator in the business for its size. 40K memory.

     ED 2.3
     ------
A small full-screen editor. ADL combines this editor with
sophisticated communications routines, a shell, and special
callback and cursor mode functions to create a highly efficient
phone canvassing program. ED itself provides an excellent
replacement for DOS's EDLIN. Has alternate screen colouring,
cumulative wildcard input, simple snap and switch between one
file and another, automatic detection of 25, 43, or 50 line video
modes, cut and paste, wordwrap, and many other features. No help
needed, as all unfamiliar keys are summarised at the bottom of
     each screen. 20K.

     SPC 5.8
     -------
Multidrive columnar drive report, with fairly complete
description of your machine including important chips, printer,
BIOS, memory, processor and coprocessor speed, multitasking,
networking, complete info on communications ports and modems, as
well as drives. P parameter provides to PRINT multiplexer a
pause command. Includes a map of removable programs resident in
RAM. Everything in a fast one-screen snapshot. 30K.

     DFAT 2.4
     --------
File fragmentation reporter, in directory format. Shows all
clusters and cluster ranges for files and subdirectories in a
given directory with corresponding fragments and prepares a disk
summary with the percentage fragmentation injected to DOS as an
error level for batch processing. 15K.

     PDF 1.0
     -------
Partial disk defragger. Generally much faster than regular
defragging programs, because it focusses only on the area of the
disk needing a defrag operation. 8K.

     Should be used with DFAT.

   * PFL 1.5 - retail $5.00 (in addition to shareware registration)

buffer. Variable control options. Batch and Edit modes. 80

which lack an adequate text upload facility. Can be modified to
fit your requirements. Currently supports some specialised
