* THE SPRITE MANAGER V1.0 for Windows *
***************************************

This package contains two versions of the SPRITE MANAGER librarys:

1.      A 16-bit version for Visual C++ 1.5
SP1615.LIB is the 16-bit debug library FOR THE LARGE MEMORY MODEL

2.      A 32-bit version for Visual C++ 1.1 for Windows NT
SP32.LIB is the 32-bit debug library

The header files are common to both versions:
SPRITE.H contains the definition for the CSprite class
SPRMGR.H contains the definition for the CSpriteMgr class

Included documentation:
SPRITE.DOC MS-Word 6.0 file containing the complete interface
description of the CSprite and CSpriteMgr classes
SPRITE.TXT MS-DOS-Text file containing the same thing
SPRITE.WRI MS-Write 3.1 file containing the same thing

Included demo applications:
	DEMO32\SPRITES.MAK The 32-bit demo application
	DEMO16\SPRITES.MAK guess what? :-)

Both applications are demonstrating exactly the same things:
		1.Using animated and ownerdraw sprites
2.Using the CSpriteMgr class to implement mouse dragging
3.Using the CSpriteMgr class to move CSprite objects with
		  overlapped boundaries and defined Z-order.

Known problems:
Windows NT 3.5 Beta (Build 612)
Using the 32-Bit version of the library with this version of
Windows NT results in incorrect repainting of window
background after a sprite moves from one place to another.
I do not believe this is a problem of the library. I think this problem
will disapeare in the final release of Windows NT 3.5.

This version is SHAREWARE!

Both libraries have built-in usage limitations:
1.A maximum runtime duration of 5 minutes
2.A maximum of 3000 library calls (Note that moving sprites with overlapped
boundaries is resulting in a library call for every overlapping sprite
	  with higher Z-order!)
After one of this limitations is reached a disclaimer message box apears
on the screen and all sprites turn black!
Please do not be angry about this childish stuff but i know what's on in
some programmers backyuard rooms and i realy need some money so i can affording
to develope such programms.
