New Smacker 1.1!

RAD released Smacker 1.1 today, one a month after its initial
release.

This new version has seven major new features.

First, a new video lossy setting allows extremely high
compression of video-captured flics.

Second, users can now add an optional ring frame to speed up
looping of an animation.

Third, the playback utility (already the fastest available) has
been sped up an additional 10%.

Fourth, the playback utility can now playback indirectly
through system memory, which does slow down playback somewhat,
but completely eliminates the "tearing" of complicated flics
during playback.

Fifth, a new utility converts Smacker flics back into FLC
files which allows Smacker to be used solely as a distribution
mechanism - the SMK files are converted back to FLC files at
installation time.

Sixth, RAD now offers new licenses for obtaining Smacker source
code for a specific product, and for redistributing only the
Smk2FLC utility.

Finally, Smacker now includes SmackScript, a powerful scripting
language that allows users to create fully-interactive
animations.

Smacker still costs only $295.00, and updates to Smacker 1.0
are $30.00.
