If Windows should fail to start after you've changed
the startup bitmap at anytime, you will need to do
the following:

1)	Using the DOS editor, place the word REM before
any SUBST statements in AUTOEXEC.BAT, and save the
new AUTOEXEC.BAT.

2) Reboot the computer.

3) Type CD \WINDOWS (the main Windows directory)

4) Make sure there is a file named VGALOGO.RLE in
your \WINDOWS\SYSTEM subdirectory.

5) Type SETUP. This starts the Windows setup program.

6) Using the cursor keys, move to the second line
from the top, where it asks you to choose a video
driver. Type <ENTER>. Choose the video driver you
were using before Windows crashed. If you are
unsure, choose VGA. Keep typing <ENTER> to accept
the new choice.

7) Type WIN to start Windows.

8) You may need to re-install your fonts. To do
this, click on Control Panel in the Main window, and
choose the Fonts icon. Locate the directory where
the fonts are (usually \WINDOWS\SYSTEM). Click the
Select All button to install them.

9) The fonts won't be properly installed until you
exit and restart Windows.

10) You may now remove the REM statements you added to
AUTOEXEC.BAT SUBST command line if you wish.
