------------------------------------------------------------------
Overview
------------------------------------------------------------------
Have you ever wished that when you double-click on a filename in
File Manager that you could choose which application would be
started? If so, then Launcher is your DREAM COME TRUE!

Launcher is a simple utility that allows you to associate mulitple
applications with a single file type. The advantage to this is
that when you double-click on a file that has multiple applications
associtated to it, Launcher will present you with a dialog of your
desired programs. If your application just has one program
associated with it, no dialog will appear (this the normal
behavior).

------------------------------------------------------------------
Setting up and Using Launcher
------------------------------------------------------------------
After verifying that CMDIALOG.VBX and VBRUN300.DLL are in your
Windows directory, you may copy LAUNCHER.EXE to ANY directory
on your system. Launcher is started by double-clicking
LAUNCHER.EXE.

The first time you run Launcher, you will see a dialog that displays
"Your LAUNCHER.INI file has been created!". This means that
Launcher has added all of the entries in your [Extensions] section
of your WIN.INI file and associated LAUNCHER.EXE to all of the
file types displayed in the [Extensions] section. (This action
can be reversed if you decide to uninstall launcher.)

Next you will see the Associate dialog. This dialog is used
to associated multiple applications with a single file type.
For example, let's say you wanted to associate TXT files with
Notepad and Write (these programs are in your Windows directory).
You would do the following:

1. In the Files with Extension dropdown combo box, type "TXT".
2. Click the Browse... button and find notepad.exe. Press Ok.
3. In the Description text box, type "Microsoft Notepad"
4. Press enter (or click Add).
5. Click the Browse... button and find write.exe. Press Ok.
6. In the Description text box, type "Microsoft Write"
7. Press enter (or click Add).

You now have two applications associated with TXT files.
Now lets try out Launcher. Click Cancel to dismiss the Cancel
dialog.

1. In File Manager double-click on ANY file with the extension
.TXT (for instance readme.txt in your Launcher directory.)
2. Launcher should appear* with the following 2 choices in the
   list box:

	Microsoft Notepad
	Microsoft Write

Choose the application of your choice, and click the Launch
   button.
------------------------------------------------------------------
**************************** NOTE ********************************
------------------------------------------------------------------
     * = If Launcher does not appear then your OLE registration
database has TXT files assigned to a single application.
Since changing the OLE database would damage your OLE
installation, we have built in a second method.

Start Launcher.exe using the /D command-line parameter by typing
the following text in File Manager's Run dialog (accessed by
choosing File Run):

	c:\launcher\launcher.exe /d

WHERE C:\LAUNCHER\ is the directory and drive where you stored
Launcher.

Next, drag any file with the extension *.TXT into Launcher. Resume
at step 2 listed above.

------------------------------------------------------------------
Other Features
------------------------------------------------------------------
Launcher also has the following command-line parameters that
perform the following actions:

Command-Line Parameter	Action
------------------------------------------------------------------
/D Starts Launcher in Drag & Drop mode.

/R Rebuilds your [Extensions] section of your
			WIN.INI to it's PRE-LAUNCHER state. Use
			this if you uninstall Launcher.

/B Rebuilds your LAUNCHER.INI and [Extensions]
			section in your WIN.INI.
