Newsreader 3.0 Installation

A Newsbytes(TM) File Reader For Windows 3.1

Requires VBRUN300.DLL

In case you have download this, and are wondering "What's A Newsbyte":
Newsbytes is an online computer newspaper, published Monday to Friday
(except for some U.S. holidays). There are typically 30 stories each
day, from reviews to editorials to new product information. It is a
wonderful service. To find out where you can get Newsbytes, see the
online Help file, under 'Other Information', 'Finding Newsbytes Files'.

If you would like to give Newsreader 3.0 a quick try, just double-click on
the NEWS3.EXE in your File Manager window. A few configuration files
will be created, but all in that local directory. For a more complete
installation, run INSTALL.EXE.

Newsreader is broken up into two archives, originally distributed as
NEWS3A.ZIP and NEWS3B.ZIP (Look for Newsreader 3.0, Zip File A and Zip
File B). NEWS3A.ZIP contains everything except two Microsoft Access
1.1 DLL files (and a second installation information file), that are
in NEWS3B.ZIP. You will need these files as well. Microsoft Access
1.1 or Visual Basic 3.0 users probably will not need this file (look for
msaes110.dll and msajt110.dll in your \windows\system directory).

After you have run the INSTALL.EXE program, you can delete all the files
you unzipped - you should keep the two .ZIP files in case something
happens to your copy of Newsreader.

Newsreader 3.0 is not freeware. It is shareware, and costs $15 U.S. or
Canadian. Please see the online Help file, under Registration, for more
information and an order form.
