Ruler V1.0 1994 (C) R. Reiter, Newmarket, Ontario, Canada
==========================================================

A simple resizeable onscreen ruler for WINDOWS 3.1 . It displays
Logical Inches or Logical centimetres, or can be calibrated to
display true measurements.

Folks, I wrote this out of dire need one night and then didn't have
the heart to toss it. Someday I may work on some improvements.
For now, it's another little trinket in my Accessories Group.

TO INSTALL:
Copy RULER.EXE to your WINDOWS directory. Start the FILE MANAGER.
Find the RULER.EXE file and Drag 'n Drop it onto the ACCESSORIES
Group. You should see the Ruler Icon appear.
If you can't Drag 'n Drop, you can select New/Program Item from the
Windows FILE menu and enter the full path\ruler.exe .

USING THE RULER:
You may move and size the ruler as required; the scale will automatically
orient itself horizontally or vertically.
On startup the program appends a RULER selection to the main system
menu (the minus button). Your menu choices are:

- Inches (default)
- Centimetres

- Logical Scale (default) All measurements are based on the logical
resolution that Windows is using. A logical
inch typically measures more than 1" because
Windows displays type enlarged for readability.

- True Scale All measurements are actual dimensions. When
this menu item is selected, a Dialog Box pops
up for you to calibrate the ruler by entering
                           the actual screen size.
