2026-02-13 20:00:05We have now a searchbar integrated into the BBSindex PC Design. The News Database will be searched for Titel and then for the text content of the article. Results will be sorted by news date. You can find the search box on the upper right unter the menue in the PC view of the site.
When you're on the english part of BBSindex your results will only be from articles in english. If you're on the German part you will get results with german and english language.
Other minor updates of BBSindex are mainly in the backend and some small adjustments on different design pages.
We're testing the search only on the PC view of BBSindex for now. We plan to roll out this feature to other designs after the test time frame.

On this day in history the first BBS was going online. That's 48 years ago. Both founder of the first BBS with the name CBBS startet the online evolution for home computer.
Both, Ward Christensen and Randy Suess are no longer with us. But they leave a leagacy that is rememberd 48 years later. They founded the home use online communication that would spread all over the world until today. Amiga 40 Panels
2025-11-18 18:45:25This week and next week we're posting the rest of the Amiga 40 Germany panels and interviews.
We're currently working to rescue the audio from Beth Richard's panel. We have one panel that has 10 minutes of audio that we can't recover. It is the AGA panel.
We are also have to look into the David Pleasance panel because of some technical issues with his computer that delayed the speech.
If you're lucky you get two more panel videos on top.
All panels that will be uploaded have improved audio. That doesen't mean the quality is perfect but you can listen to it and understand most of it.
