Der BBSindex Calendar soll eine Plattform für BBS/Mailbox und Retro-Events bieten. Chatabende oder andere Veranstaltungen in Mailboxen können eingetragen werden. Alles es aus dem RetroComputing Universum ebenfalls.
Kalender Für Deine Mailbox
Das besondere an unserem Kalender ist die abrufbarkeit als eine Ascii-Datei. Diese enthält die nächsten 25 Termine und kann somit einfach in einer Mailbox angesehen werden.
Wer unseren Kalender in seine Mailbox einbinden möchte muss sich nur die Textausgabe von http://bbsindex.de/bbs/calendar_de.php speichern. Dies geht zum Beispiel mit curl oder wget. Commandbeispiele sind: curl http://bbsindex.de/bbs/calendar_de.php >bbscalendar.txt
oder wget http://bbsindex.de/bbs/calendar_de.php >bbscalendar.txt
Das Tool wget findet sich in allen gängien Linux-Distros. Curl gibt es für Linux und Windows.
.ics für deinen persönlichen Kalender
Neben der Retromethode zum abrufen der Termine gibt es auch ein modernes Format das zum Beispiel unter Thunderbird oder auf dem Smartphone eingebunden werden kann. Wer den BBSindex Calendar in seine Software einbinden möchte kann die .ics Datei unter http://bbsindex.de/bbsindexcalendar.ics abrufen. Um auch ältere Software zu unterstützen nutzen wir das iCAL Format Version 2.0.

Im Web kann der BBSindex Calendar auf BBSindex.de angesehen werden. Ihr findet diesem im Hauptmenue unter Kalender. Hier werden nicht nur die nächsten Termine aufgelistet sondern hier besteht auch die Möglichkeit Veranstaltungen einzutragen.

The unique point with our Calendar is the accessibility as an ASCII file. This file contains the next 25 events and is therefor easy to implement to your own BBS.

Besides the oldschool access to the calendars dates we also offer a more modern method. For your Thunderbird or Smartphone we have an .ics file. You can access this file here: http://bbsindex.de/bbsindexcalendar.ics
To support older Software that deal with .ics files we choose the iCAL Version 2.0 as fileformat.
